Although the construction on this 4-piece flag-pole is lightweight, it seems sturdy enough. With the ability to be used for either a “sleeve” or grommet flag, this is a versatile way to display a flag. I think its an acceptable replica of the original from 1962. Too bad that the instructions are less then complete, so be prepared to spend a little time before the lamp is finally assembled.
The quality appears to be alright.The marble block is really heavy, the way it should be. I am a 6’4″ man at 210#, and I am able to carry that block on my own. Adesso Clover Floor Lamp, Satin Steel

I purchased the Adesso Clover Floor Lamp as NEW but when it was delivered to me it looked used. It was totally damaged.. I am so disappointed. The shade of the lamp was dented and scratched up, the “leg” of the lamp was very dented on one side… it was TERRIBLE!! Me, being a single girl living on my own.. with no car, was unable to pack it all up and return it by post office being that I work 5 days a week (I leave for work before the the post office opens.. and get home after they close) It’s a very large package and was not able to do anything but keep it. It was my first and last purchase through Amazon.com. I paid for a NEW lamp and trusted that I would recieve one.. I unfortunately did not get what I paid for and have to see that damaged, used looking lamp in my studio apt. for a while now. Thanks Amazon.

It’s quite massive and solid in construction. Assembly was easy and intuitive. Three of the nuts were missing so it cost me 15-cents extra after a visit to the local hardware store. I painted mine all black with high-temperature paint for that turn-o’-the-century look. It should only be used under light wind to no wind conditions unless it is placed someplace where there is a windbreak – the all-around exposure of the unit can cause embers to really fly if you do try to set it up when there’s a real wind. Heats well if it’s above 50 degrees outside. Grille on top of the smokestack lets you heat up some water for coffee just for the heck of it. Lets you sit outside a bit earlier in the season before the mosquitos emerge. Toast marshmallows and vege outdoors. Fun.
